"To teach young people you must first love them." The Department of Campus Ministry, inspired by the charism of Saint Marcellin Champagnat,
is very active in the spiritual life and faith development of the
students and staff of Marist Catholic High School. Campus Ministry
offers unique and challenging opportunities through which students and
staff can deepen their understanding and experience of themselves as
human persons and their faith as Christians. For over 40 years, Marist Catholic High School has fostered the commitment of the founder of the Marist Brothers, Saint Marcellin Champagnat: "To make Jesus known through the Christian education of youth." | | Saint Marcellin Champagnat |

The focus of this department is in four main areas: Sacramental/Liturgical, education, retreat experiences and community service. It is charged with:the religious and moral development of each student, by fostering awareness of Christian identity through a specific curriculum of religious education; exhibiting its ideas of Christian concern and service; providing a variety of liturgical and spiritual activities; preparing students to meet the moral and spiritual challenges of our society; encouraging the learning, sharing and spreading of Gospel values.
Campus Ministry is sensitive to the religious and moral growth of all students of all faiths. We hope to enable each student to develop a deep and lasting relationship with God. |
