Marist Catholic High School provides a college preparatory
academic program that effectively integrates intellectual,
spiritual, social, and physical student development. Consistent with
its Catholic identity, Marist helps students of all religions reach
toward their full potential by affirming, throughout all its
programs, the Gospel message of individual worth and redemption.
The ideal Marist Catholic High School graduate is an articulate,
aware, and socially integrated individual with the academic skills

Community
Eugene is the second largest city in Oregon, and the
greater metropolitan area has a population of over 300,000. It is
located in the Willamette Valley and is the home of the University
of Oregon. Marist draws from more than 24 middle schools, with some
students commuting as far as 75 miles daily.
School
Marist is a Catholic,
co-educational institution offering a college preparatory
curriculum. Expected Marist enrollment is 490 for the 2008-09 school
year. It is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited
Schools.
Marist follows a semester system with seven class periods. Each
semester course has a value of .5 credits, with a total graduation
requirement of 25 credits. In addition, 65 hours of Christian
service are required. The Class of 2013 will be required to earn an additional science credit for a total of 26 credits.
